Fall Family Photos

I do realize that my blog is supposed to be about Sam... but I've had the opportunity to take a few pictures of good friends and these people are too beautiful to not share.  I'm blessed to have people in my life that trust me to take their family photos!

Fall Wedding Photo Shoot

I'd just like to share a few of my favorite photos from the wedding I shot in September.  It was an amazing day (nearly 30 degrees) in a beautiful location with a wonderful family.

Many wishes for a lifetime of happiness for this couple.  It was my pleasure to work with you and be part of such a beautiful day.

Creepy Crawly Birthday Party

Sam got invited to a very special birthday party this weekend.  It was the first birthday party that Sam has gone to of his own friend and not one he got through me or Shaun.  Very exciting.  This was a party of one of Sam's friends from daycare.  It was the perfect little boy party!  The theme was creepy crawly and it was amazing!
The kids waiting patiently for the reptile lady to share her lizards and such with them.  They were soooo excited but so quiet (at least at first)!
The birthday boy, Caedon, gets a 'snake bracelet'.
Sam gently touches the snake... he was so proud of himself!
Everyone not to sure about this muddy turtle.
Sammy loving the idea that the kids are holding this BIG snake.
However, he's not so sure once it was his turn!
I believe this guy is called a tegu.  Look at Sam's little lizard tongue!
Super friendly animal, letting all these little fingers touch him.   The kids LOVED this one!
Sammy got a tegu kiss!
Coolest. Cake. Ever.
First time at the pinata.  He did great.  Oh and by the way, Shaun was the hero that broke it!!!  You'd think the kids would be upset that he broke it and not them, but they were soooo happy with the flurry of candies that fell they didn't even realize.
Sam and the birthday boy!
It really was a fun fun fun party.  Just a little glimpse of how special the people are that are in Sam's everyday life.  We loved the party and love this family!  Perfect thanksgiving weekend fun!

Lacombe Corn Maze

Last weekend, we spent a brisk morning at the Kraay Corn Maze with my Mom, Sue, Colton and Auntie Bobbi.  Not even the chilly air mattered to Sam as he got busy with all the fun there was to do there.  It's really a great place for kids of all sizes and the mazes were manageable (not frustrating) even with Sam walking the whole time.
First discovery... a floating tunnel.  At first glance we knew this was going to be a very fun morning!
Riding a pony... both good for the earth and easy to clean up after, just my kind of horse!
The COOLEST alternative to a sandbox... it's a corn box.  Well, it was actually contained in a little building and was soooo much fun to scoop and jump in (not that I got a chance to but I could tell by Sam's reaction)!
This one I couldn't just watch Sam play on, I had to try it for myself!  It was like a giant bubble that you could bounce on.  SOOO MUCH FUN!  Everyone ended up jumping but we had no camera man to catch the moment.
The spider web.
There were a ton of animals to feed.  Sam liked the pig.  He was noisy and stinky and VERY hungry.  What's not to love!?
My little piggy!
Happiest scarecrow EVER!
Sammy being eaten on the mini golf course
Sam shows off a corn he found in his pocket after being in the corn box!
Pure happiness.
Possibly the world's craziest slide... I have bruises to prove it.

My very best guy.  We picked out a pumpkin... it was a very hard choice.
Bye pumpkin!
Gramma is so much fun!
Waiting for our family to come out of the maze... Sam and I were the fastest!
We love the Corn Maze!
