The Frog Prince

Much to everyone's surprise, Sam's mini frogs he got for Easter from Gramma Bee are still alive and kicking.  Honestly, I've never met two happier little frogs!  Recently Sam has taken an even bigger interest in them and love love loves feeding day!  Here are a few shots of Sam taking care of his frogs...

This is Sam's favourite part... right after he feeds them, he likes to watch them knock the food down and wrestle for it.  Too fun!

Baby in Motion!

A wonderful anniversary weekend with my boys.  SIX YEARS already... without being too cliche, where does the time go?  Seriously, it seems like such a short time ago that I said my "I do" and celebrated my marriage with all my closest friends and family.  The best part is that I love Shaun even more today than I did that day.  Amazing husband, incredible man and my absolute best friend.  Couldn't have dreamed of anyone more perfect for me.


Anyways, this post is mark the exciting first of Sam being able to ride his tricycle all alone.  Before today we had to push and steer him... hard on the back and quickly frustrating to battle for control of the handlebars.  Today, he asked for his helmet and hopped on.  He peddled away like he'd been triking his whole life.  My mom took a couple pictures:

and off he went!  No looking back, free as a tiny little bird.  Love this boy!

Through the Eyes of Kids

I brought the boys into the school this morning so that my teaching partner and I could have a PANCAKE party with our class.  We surprised them with pancakes and loads of toppings.  The class loved it and so did Sam!  He had tons and tons of fun playing with the kids.  They were super sweet to him and loved to make him laugh.  They were also working on a photo assignment at the time, so they caught him in action. Here are my two favourite pictures taken and edited by my students...

A SUPERTOT!

Today was Sam's second last gymnastics class and the last class his coach would be there.  Shaun took around on the equipment and I followed playing the role of paparazzi!  He has done such an amazing job in this class that we signed him up for summer camp too.  The gym club in Airdrie, and Coach Paul specifically, ran an really great program.  This was my very first go at being a sportsmom and I LOVED IT!!!  Can't wait for many more years of it and many more types of sports.  Little boys are the best!

June Days...

Been a busy month... just feels like there is so little time to pull out the camera and capture the fun we have.  That is until Shaun bought me a new camera.  I thought I loved my old one, but this has brought it to a whole new level of love!

P's Birthday Party!

One of Sam's best little friends celebrated her 2nd birthday today.  It was a polka dot theme and so much fun.  Once Sam shook his bad attitude, he had tons of fun playing with Parker's new toys and eating delicious snacks!  We've been birthday partying lots in the past month (Payton's 3rd, Avery's 1st and then Parker's) and this was the first one I remembered my camera for.  May just wasn't a month for taking photos.
Got a few great shots of Sam's friends, but have yet to share them with Parker and her family so I'll just post a couple.
