Anyways, our recent fun included a week of gymnastics lessons. He started off a little shy but by the last day he was brave and going on without me. Sam is so strong and compact that he is a natural. Makes his mommy's heart incredibly happy to be doing a sport that I loved for so many years as a kid.
Sam getting his certificate for completing Super Tots 3! Hoorrrrray! His proud coach peeking at him... I think he was her favourite! |

Another very fun thing we did this week was taking our friend Mac on a birthday adventure. Mac celebrates his 3rd birthday while we are away on holidays, so we decided to take them to Calaway Park before we left in honour of the big day. It really was a perfect day... though it got a little hot on the ground, and the mommies felt like they were melting, both boys did incredibly well and behaved as wonderfully as 3 year old boys should! They had tons of laughs together, chatted and interacted so much more like big kids than babies. It's amazing and a tiny bit sad to watch my baby get big in front of my eyes. Tiny sad, but mostly amazing.
Tot Yacht ... big hit! |
Mac's face says "awesome", Sam's face says "anxious"! |
Goofy boy! |
It was a sweet little birthday date. The boys got along so well and they both thought each other was soooo funny. Loved it! |
Patiently waiting for their turn. |
Posers! |
Happiest birthday to you Mac! We love you a ton and hope to be your forever friend... Sam is going to need a big guy like you to watch his back! |
