Day 5 of CCC - Santa in the Park

There was a community food and toy drive at a playground near our house tonight.  Hot chocolate, cookies, bonfire, SANTA... sounds like the perfect Christmas Countdown event.  We went and met a few friends, but none of the kids in our group made it out without some level of crying.  Perhaps it's a little better once Santa isn't terrifying (Sam is his biggest fan at home but freakin' scared in person) and 6pm isn't almost bed time.  Nonetheless, the cookies were great and the company was even better.  Great fundraiser and I'm happy we went down there.

On route to find Santa...
After Sam's breakdown over Santa trying to hold his hand, we tried for a group photo of the kids... Parker apparently couldn't even be calmed with a giant cookie.  Being a baby is tough!!!!!
Family shot.

Si, Kaysi, P and Lillie at the Santa Toy/Food Drive.  No picture of the Farrell's because I took their family photo on Lindsay's camera.
This is just before we packed it in for the night (we did spend a whole 17 minutes there!!!)  They had these bales set up around a little bonfire.  Stereo playing Christmas carols.  Fakest Santa in history.  All in all, a perfect Christmas event.  Loved it!
Had to throw this one on here.  Taken earlier today while playing at Parker's house.   BFFs.  You should have seen the smooch good bye!!!!
